Creamy Banana & Medjool Date Ice Cream

Ingredients

Soft Serve Base

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • ½ cup almond or coconut milk
  • 6 Medjool dates, pitted
  • ½ tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Soft Serve Base

  1. Peel and slice bananas into 1-inch slices. 
  2. Freeze solid, about an hour. 
  3. In a food processor blend all ingredients together using the pulse tab, scrape down sides with a rubber spatula to distribute the ingredients evenly. 
  4. Blend until you have a creamy consistency. 
  5. Enjoy immediately or store in your freezer in an airtight container. Keeps up to 4 months.

Flavorings

Chocolate & Toasted Almond Dream

Add 2 ½ tablespoons unsweetened cocoa and 1 cup toasted almonds to soft serve base and blend well. Store as directed.

Lime & Coconut Nice Dream

Add fresh zest of 1 lime and ¼ cup shredded coconut to base. Blend well.

Other additions:

Up to ½ cup of your choice (or combo!) cocoa nibs, chocolate covered nuts, peanut butter pretzels, pomegranate seeds & pistachios.

Top with or swirl in chocolate sauce.
