Our Medjool dates
come from a strangely wonderful place.

In 1944, six Medjool date offshoots were planted in what we call Bard Valley, where Arizona, California and Mexico meet in the Desert Southwest. It’s the ideal microclimate for the healthiest date palms (yes, dates grow on trees) and the best Medjools on Earth.

What are Medjool dates, you ask?

The Medjool date (say “meh-jewel”) is fresh; not dried.

It has a pit, like a peach or plum. Ours are soft and chewy, with a sweet, kind-of-caramel flavor. And yes, they’re curious-looking. But once you get past that wrinkly exterior, you’ll find taste, nutrition and versatility you’ll want to have around, all the time.
