We asked YOU on social media what your favorite holiday traditions are and we got some really heartfelt and fun memories that you enjoy doing each year. Since eating and snacking is such a staple part of our unique holiday traditions, we wanted to show you how each of your favorite traditions are made a little sweeter when you bring our new Truffles to the table.
Our dog Barley is part of our family, and every year he loves to circle the Thanksgiving table waiting for holiday scraps to hit the floor. Too often, we worry that a rogue onion from the stuffing or sugary bite of pie will fall and make his stomach upset later. So, this year, we thought we’d make it easier for him to enjoy the holiday with us by making some pup-friendly Thanksgiving treats that taste great and won’t upset his stomach.
We’ve been waiting all year and the time is finally here! Harvest season is wrapping up, and our farmers are in the final steps of picking our ripe, moisture-rich Medjool dates. Our palms, some of which date all the way back to the 1940’s, provide around 200 pounds of fresh dates on each tree. Since the palmeros only have a 3 week window to harvest the thousands of acres of trees (thanks Mother Nature), our team hit the ground running. There are quite a few steps that go into growing and harvesting our Medjool dates, so I’m sharing some of my favorite facts from our recent Harvest Tour.
