Bacon Wrapped Sausage Stuffed Dates

Salty Smithfield sausage and bacon were the perfect pairing for the natural sweetness of Medjool dates. These are the perfect complement to cheese stuffed dates on your appetizer table.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. Natural Delights Pitted Medjool Dates
  • 1lb Smithfield pork sausage
  • 1/2 package of Smithfield bacon

Preparation

  1. Brown sausage for about 10 mins or until cooked through
  2. Fill each pitted date with cooked sausage
  3. Cut uncooked bacon slices in half and wrap date
  4. Bake at 350 for 20 mins or until bacon is crispy and brown
