Ingredients

  • Smoothie Base
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ cup strawberries
  • ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Toppings
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • ¼ cup California Walnuts, chopped
  • 2-3 Sweet and Salty Almond Mini Medjools
  • Chocolate Drizzle
  • 1 tablespoon melted chocolate chips (semisweet, dark, or milk chocolate, depending on your preference)
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for a thinner drizzle)

Preparation

For the Smoothie

1. In your Ninja Cream container, combine the frozen banana, frozen berries, almond milk, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.

2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

3. Pour the smoothie mixture into a bowl.

4. Arrange the strawberries on top of the smoothie bowl.

5. Sprinkle the chopped California walnuts and top the Natural Delights Sweet and Salty Almond Mini Medjools and over the fruit for a delicious salty-sweet crunch.

For the Chocolate Drizzle

1. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil (if using) on high-power in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and melted.2. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the smoothie bowl and toppings, creating a decorative pattern or simply drizzling back and forth.

2. Enjoy immediately!

*While Medjool dates are high in natural sugars, they are low on the glycemic index thanks to a balanced amount of soluble fiber. The complex carbohydrates found in Medjool dates are digested at a slower rate, making them a source of dietary fiber and releasing energy to the body over a longer period of time.
