Date Smoothie Bowl

This Date Tahini Smoothie bowl is naturally sweet from fresh Medjool dates and savory from the tahini, but perfectly creamy and crunchy from the toppings. The best part is you need just 5 minutes and a handful of ingredients to put this nutritious bowl together.

Ingredients

  • 2 small-medium frozen bananas
  • 4 pitted Natural Delights Medjool Dates
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1.5 tbsp tahini
  • ¼ cup of milk

Preparation

Blend all of the ingredients in a blender for a minute until all the components are well mixed. Place in a bowl and garnish with your favorite toppings.

*While Medjool dates are high in natural sugars, they are low on the glycemic index thanks to a balanced amount of soluble fiber. The complex carbohydrates found in Medjool dates are digested at a slower rate, making them a source of dietary fiber and releasing energy to the body over a longer period of time.
