Masala Chai Bites

These Masala Chai Bites made with Medjool dates are a delicious way to get the energy you need for your day.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. Cardamom
  • ¼ tsp. Ground Ginger
  • 1/8 tsp. Ground Cloves
  • 1/8 tsp. Allspice
  • 1/8 tsp. Freshly Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 12 Pitted Medjool Dates
  • ¼ cup Cashew Butter
  • ½ tsp Vanilla Bean Paste
  • ¼ cup Cacao Nibs
  • ¼ cup Coconut Shreds
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Coconut Oil

Preparation

  1. Process & Blend until incorporated/can hold itself together.
  2. Roll into 1” balls & coat in extra coconut shreds.

*While Medjool dates are high in natural sugars, they are low on the glycemic index thanks to a balanced amount of soluble fiber. The complex carbohydrates found in Medjool dates are digested at a slower rate, making them a source of dietary fiber and releasing energy to the body over a longer period of time.
