Medjool Date Creepy Crawly Salty Bugs

Ingredients

12 Natural Delights® Medjool dates, pitted

1 tablespoon olive oil

Maldon sea salt flakes (or your favorite flakes)

Delicious with goat gouda hard cheese (optional)

Preparation

1. Sauté pitted Medjool dates in olive oil on medium heat until lightly blistered on all sides (careful not to burn), remove from heat.

2. Open date and stuff with small chunk of goat gouda cheese (optional) and sprinkle with sea salt flakes - NOT optional :)

Makes 12 (double it, they go fast)
