Runner’s Energy Drops


  • ½ lb. Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 tbsp. warm water
  • ½ tsp.  sea salt
  • 2 tbsp. dried cranberries
  • 2 tbsp. pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbsp. chia seeds
  • ½ cup almonds (or any favorite nut)

Powders for coating: shredded coconut or coconut flour, matcha tea powder, powdered peanut flour, cocoa powder. You will need about ¾ cup total.


  1. Add all ingredients to the bowl of a food processor and process using the pulse tab, scraping down the sides of the bowl as you go.
  2. Turn mixture out onto parchment paper. 
  3. Form into two 10- inch rolls using paper to cover mixture to prevent the mixture from sticking to your hands. 
  4. Slice each roll into roughly 10 pieces.
  5. Form each slice into a drop (like a chocolate kiss shape) 
  6. Roll in your desired powder in a small bowl. 
  7. Store in an airtight container.  

Keeps in your pantry for 2-3 weeks or refrigerate for longer storage.
